Psychotherapy
Jennifer Chiba, MA, MFT, Art Psychotherapist
Welcome
ikimasho means “let’s go” in Japanese.
In this case it’s an invitation to a journey of psychotherapy.
Let’s go on a journey of self discovery, of change, of transformation, of healing.
In psychotherapy, the journey/the process and the destination are often the same. As in life, it’s not always where we are going but how we get there, gaining experience, awareness, and wellbeing along the way.
Life can be hard
Imagine a life in which you are taking good care of yourself, feeling better and having stronger and healthier relationships. Imagine a life where you feel at ease and comfortable in your own skin, a life led by self acceptance and compassion.
We all have times when we struggle to manage difficult feelings or thoughts. Whether you feel stuck, lost or overwhelmed by traumatic experiences, life events, relationships or loss, you don’t have to face these challenges alone. Healing happens in connection to others and as a therapist, I am here to support and guide you in discovering your innate capacity to survive, heal and thrive.
Searching for a therapist can make you feel even more vulnerable. You have already taken the first courageous step. Together we will determine if we’re a good match to take on this process of change. Together we can figure out the right path forward for you.
